Saturday June, 29th marks two openings featuring Ronn's sculpture - The annual North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show (NBOSS), and the 12th anniversary celebration of The Laffer Gallery. Both are outstanding opportunities for which Ronn and I are most grateful. The downside is not being able to be in two places at once.
NBOSS opens it's 27th year with a reception and party at the Vermont Art Exchange, 48 Main Street, North Bennington, VT on Saturday from 4pm - 8pm. Three locations will host the work of over 50 sculptors. We attended last year's opening which was an excellent outdoor event showcasing sculpture of all kinds. The exhibit's famous tag line "Sculptures, Hotdogs & PBR since 1997" captures the uniqueness of the event which is complete with live music. This year's show will mark the second year Ronn has exhibited at NBOSS. We are disappointed to miss this year's celebration, but are most certainly feeling gratitude for the busy art life. We wish all of the artists at NBOSS a beautiful day.
The Laffer Gallery in Schuylerville, NY celebrates an impressive 12 years this Saturday with the opening of "Renewal" featuring gallery owner Erik Laffer, and our very own Ronn T. Mattia. The best part, and maybe I'm biased, Ronn will unveil brand new sculptures that even I have not seen yet! Join us from 5pm - 8pm at 96 Broad Street in Schuylerville where there will be an opportunity to meet and greet both Ronn and Erik. The openings at The Laffer Gallery never fail to impress.
